As I get older, I realise the true value in life.
The trappings of success we all chase are just illusions.
I’m not saying “don’t aim high”
I am, and I’m not where I want to be.
I’d be a liar if I said material things don’t matter.
They do, of course.
But it’s all about perspective.
Many of the things that I thought were important in my 20’s are largely irrelevant now I’m in my 40’s.
Priorities change.
Goals change overtime.
Everyone wants to look the part and have the “thing”
That’s a natural desire as a human being but it should never be at the expense of what truly matters.
Good health.
Without it, what do you have?
Time.
The world’s currency.
And family.
What the hell are you working hard for?
Priorities.
Don’t forget them.
Hope this helps?
