A plan that works – sounds obvious but many are simply following a plan that will never work. The first step for any weight loss regime is nutrition. Are you creating a calorie deficit? Without this, NOTHING WORKS!
Patience – It’s taken you years to get to where you are now, so you can’t expect results overnight.
Consistency – This is the key to success in EVERYTHING in life, not just in the weight loss game.
Trust in the process – No trust in what you are doing, you’ll never stick with it. Trust comes from education and following someone with a proven track record in this area.
Trust in yourself – the ability to stay the course and not quit, which ties very nicely into patience and consistency.
Be kinder to yourself – You will mess up. What you don’t do is say “fuck it, I’m a failure” – you draw a line under it, move on and start again.
A MASSIVE reason why – Why do you want to lose weight? What will this result give you in your life? It’s not the weight on the scales that you want. More energy, get back into your old clothes and be around for the grandkids – that’s a REAL reason why.
